The last king of Scotland
It’s a great Movie , about a young Scottish going to Uganda for the life excitement , new adventure , a unknown world , ending up by the collapse of Amin Government , the young white doctor got a true image of the reality after all the honour , all the disasters , the affaires …
In the middle of the movie , I could almost cry out , what a cruel world , that’s politics ; What a pure and naïve mind , that’s young 20s ; The film reminds me one of my friends currently in western Asia , another 20s seeking to have a different life with all the courage , the only different point might be , he must be 100times smarter and businesslike than Nicholas Garrigan , which’s supporting him to survive and do a good life in the War Field .
Right after the movie , I read through all the related books about Amin , his brutal control in Uganda , his moral corruption … Things make me silent for quite a while , I’m not the type seeking for an ‘ excite ‘ life …
